Vietnam Feed Ingredient Prices on July 7, 2026: Corn and Soybean Meal Continue to Rise
Vietnam’s feed ingredient market on July 7, 2026 recorded higher prices for imported corn and soybean meal, while rice bran, DDGS and several by-products remained mostly stable.
Vietnam’s feed ingredient market on July 7, 2026 showed a clear upward trend in key imported commodities, especially corn and soybean meal. Prices were updated in VND/kg and reflected market quotations from traders across major ports and domestic supply areas.
Corn Prices Increase Across Delivery Periods
Imported corn prices increased across several delivery periods. South American and South African corn at Cai Lan port was quoted at 6,900 VND/kg for July delivery, up 50 VND/kg. Forward delivery prices also moved higher, reaching 6,950 VND/kg for August-September and 7,050 VND/kg for October-November.
At Vung Tau, imported corn followed a similar trend. July delivery was quoted at 6,900 VND/kg, while August-September reached 6,950 VND/kg. October-November delivery rose to 7,050 VND/kg, and December 2026 to February 2027 was quoted at 7,150 VND/kg.
Soybean Meal Prices Rise Strongly
Soybean meal prices also increased strongly. South American soybean meal at Cai Lan port was quoted at 10,900 VND/kg for July delivery, up 100 VND/kg. Later delivery periods rose to 11,000-11,100 VND/kg.
At Vung Tau, soybean meal was quoted around 10,950-11,050 VND/kg, with gains of 100-150 VND/kg depending on delivery time.
Rice Bran and By-Products Remain Stable
Rice bran and rice by-products remained mostly stable. Dry rice bran in the Mekong Delta was quoted around 8,000-8,080 VND/kg, while wet rice bran ranged from 7,700 to 7,750 VND/kg. IR504 brown rice increased slightly by 50 VND/kg to 8,950 VND/kg.
Feed Wheat and DDGS Show Limited Changes
Feed wheat and DDGS prices were relatively steady, with some slight increases in wheat. Feed wheat at Cai Lan and Vung Tau for July delivery was quoted at 7,200 VND/kg, up 50 VND/kg. U.S. DDGS at Hai Phong and Cat Lai ranged from 7,500 to 7,600 VND/kg and remained unchanged.
Exchange Rate Update
Exchange rates were also worth monitoring. The USD was stable at 26,462 VND, while the Chinese yuan decreased by 9 VND to 3,932 VND. Corn in Yunnan, China was equivalent to 9,335 VND/kg, unchanged from the previous update.
Market Outlook
Overall, Vietnam’s feed ingredient market is showing stronger pressure from imported corn and soybean meal prices. Meanwhile, rice bran, DDGS and several by-products remain more stable. In the short term, buyers should continue to monitor global soybean movements, import costs, exchange rates and domestic supply availability.
